Stan Anglen grew up fishing the creeks, rivers and lakes of northeast Oklahoma. Green country as it’s known to the okies is full of back water and a
wide variety of species. After traveling the country starting new businesses, making stops in Washington DC, Dallas, TX and Albuquerque, NM, he made
his way to the “mother land”, Missoula Montana. Learning the ropes of fly fishing from friend John Herzer, there’s not much water in the area he hasn’t
fished in the ten years since he showed up in Missoula. He really enjoys getting folks into the fish and showing off the beauty of the Montana landscape.
He lives just outside of Missoula on the Clark Fork River with his beautiful wife Patty. His first year there he fished 205 days out 365.
Stan is also a songwriter and has been known to breakout, at a moment’s notice, with an original song when you hook up with a big brown.
His soft spoken way and jovial personality makes a day on the river one you won’t soon forget.
